There is currently no Tax Credit available for replacing the windows in your home. In years past, there has been tax credits available for sums up to $1,500. The last tax credit that was available was for $200, and it expired December of 2013. The City of Richardson, Plano, Denton, and Garland do offer some local rebates. Please contact the city or Foster Exteriors Window Company for more information on tax credits and incentives.
Replacement windows can cost anywhere from $300 to well over $1000 per-window, installed. There are many different factors that can add to the cost of a window. This is why a professional must first visit with the homeowner, note their needs and expectations, and analyze the project from inside and outside of the home to determine the exact cost of a window project.
Vinyl replacement windows take anywhere from 2-4 weeks to be manufactured and delivered. Locally manufactured products usually take 2-3 weeks to be manufactured and delivered.
Foster Exteriors window installers can typically install 15 windows per day. Additional labor and 2-story homes may take extra time for installation.
Before installation day, we ask that you move anything fragile or breakable out of the immediate window area and from the walls. Our team of installers can assist with any heavy-lifting. Our installers need room to work inside and outside of the window opening, so a clear space with a 3-foot radius would be perfect.

Any alteration to a vinyl replacement window or sliding patio door will void the warranty on the product
Foster Exteriors Window Company’s installation team takes pride in their cleanliness. Our installers put down drop-cloths on floors and over furniture to keep the interior of your home protected from the elements and dust during window installation. Flower-beds and landscaping is also protected and covered. All stickers are removed from the windows once installed and we clean your windows before we leave! Expect that some dusting will be needed after installation. Our installers will broom-clean the entire area.
Any home built prior to 1978 has a chance that lead paint was used. Foster Exteriors Window Company’s salesmen are licensed by the EPA to test for lead paint and will inform you prior to beginning your window installation.
